A few days back one of my friends called me and said that he just had a word with a person whom he works for and he said some things about his conversation with that person. I thought about what he said about that person and after thinking I asked him(my friend) to ask that person, if we (me and my other friends) could meet him. At the back of mind I was thinking that he might be the person who could solve my doubts. And then after two days the "M(meeting)-DAY" came and we met him and like an ideal host he offered us "tea-snacks" and then he started to ask questions that we could hardly answer, not because those questions were tough or something complicated, but because he asked us very basic questions. Then I thought that we humans are so damn complicated, we think about everything that is advanced on this mortal earth but we forget to look for the basics. And that's what he said if you want to understand something and remember it for all your life and want to know how that particular thing can be useful in your life then first go for the basics. And after we talked about everything from our faulty system to dreaming big. And then he told us to have bigger goals in life. And then came my doubt I told him that "I cannot have a goal in life because I believe that for having a goal one needs to know his interests and they are still unknown to me." But then he said that what I think is totally opposite of what you just said, he said "I think a person first needs to define his goals then only he can develop his interests in the things in a way so that he can live his dreams and get his goals. And then came the million dollar question, I asked him that " is there a way by which a person can find his interests because I really don't have any Idea about mine". He replied in a big YES, but he said that the key lies within you, and you are the only one and will be the only one who is/will be aware of your qualities more than anyone else in this universe. Still after meeting him I have no idea that what should I be doing for knowing what my inner self wants. But one thing is for sure that one day I'm gonna find them and will live my DREAMS.
